Who we are
UnlockApply is operated by salari.dev, which is the controller of the information described here.
What we collect
Your email address. If you choose to provide them, your current or target role and what takes you the most time when you apply.
We may also record how you reached the waitlist, such as a LinkedIn post or a referral link, and a one-way hash derived from your IP address to prevent spam and abuse. We do not store the IP address itself. The hash can still be personal information, so we treat it that way.
Why we use it
- to manage the waitlist and contact you about early access;
- to understand which features people want us to build first;
- to measure where sign-ups come from;
- to prevent spam and abuse.
We do not sell your information and we do not use it to train AI models.
Legal basis
We process your waitlist information with your consent, which you give when you join the waitlist. You can withdraw it at any time by unsubscribing or by contacting us.
We process the limited technical information used for spam and abuse prevention on the basis of our legitimate interest in protecting the service.

This site does not use tracking cookies, analytics or advertising tags, and its fonts are served from our own domain.
How long we keep it
Only as long as we need it to run early access. We delete it when you unsubscribe or ask us to, and we delete the waitlist entirely once early access has ended.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your information, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive a copy of it.
To use these rights, contact us through salari.dev or message Mike Salari on LinkedIn. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.
You may also complain to your local data protection authority. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Emails
We will only email you about early access. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
